  1. Domaine De La Colline Chinon

    Domaine De La Colline Chinon

Tasting Note: An average Chinon. This ruby-colored Chinon has an earthy nose of under-ripe violet, wet leaves, crushed dried rose petals and green vegetables underpinned by dry black fruit including blackberry and red plum. On the palate, the wine is light to medium in body and flavor intensity. The Chinon’s impact is greater on the nose than the palate. Tannin is more soft than supple affording some astringency while allowing the fruit to reveal itself underneath a layer of lace that somewhat obscures the full fruit experience. All in all an average Chinon experience for the region, but that too has its virtues. Bottle Note: Made from 100% cabernet franc in stainless steel to preserve all the fresh fruit character. Beautiful crisp fruit tones are complemented by light earthy nuances. This a true country wine to enjoy either at room temperature of slightly chilled with a wide range of dishes including salads and roasted chicken. Learn More
  2. Cheval Noir St. Emilion

    Cheval Noir St. Emilion

Saint-Émilion, in the mid-19th century, the shadow of a black horse working in the vines… Prodigiously brave, both powerful and elegant, the horse was known to provide quality and success to each harvest. This is how began the legend of the Grands Vins de Cheval Noir, a pure and distinguished expression of exceptional soils. Since 1895, the name of Cheval Noir is one of the oldest of the region of Bordeaux. Purchased in 1937, Cheval Noir is the first estate of the Mahler-Besse family whose domains, among the most beautiful of the Bordeaux region, currently span Haut-Medoc, SaintÉmilion and Saint-Estephe appellations. The top vintage, Chateau Cheval Noir, entirely turned to excellence, is shown as the symbol of such philosophy. Settled on the St-Émilion plateau, the 6-hectare estate opened in 2008 a wine house combining the top range technology to the passion of wines. Made with passion and following high standards, the wines of Cheval Noir provide all the amateurs the association of pleasure, charm and elegance. Learn More
