    Old Overholt Straight Rye Whiskey

    $22.94

Old Overholt Straight Rye Whiskey has soft gold in color, this rye bears aromas of light spices and pepper mixed with a slight fruitiness. The body is big and full, and the palate shows a great balance of delicate rye qualities-spring flowers and light spices-playing off some deep, dark fruits. The finish is crisp and clean, with a burst of sweetness. This is a good example of a straight rye whiskey. Well crafted, well balanced, and very flavorful. Rittenhouse Rye 100 Proof

    $29.94

Bourbon Enthusiast (Mike): Vanilla, rye, orange marmelade, floral stuff, cinnamon/ginger, and leather swirl about in a delightful dance. A nice thick and rich rye nose awaits he who sniffs RR. A thick attack of rich barrel flavors (buttery brown sugar, maple, vanilla, and a hint of char/oak). Then comes the gingery/cinnamony spice and a zip of citrus that are tingling and cleansing to the back of the tongue, while the sweeter barrel notes cling to the roof of the mouth and die out almost as slowly as the spice does. Just dandy tasting whiskey. Learn More
  5. Mr. Katz's Rock & Rye

    Mr. Katz's Rock & Rye

    $29.94

Travel back in time to pre-Prohibition American and you'd be hard pressed to find a good bar without Rock & Rye. Post-Prohibition, it's a little bit of a rarity. However, the New York Distilling Company has come up with their own Rock & Rye, so you'll never have to be without it again! Mister Katz's Rock & Rye is a combination of their youthful rye whiskey, rock candy sugar, sour cherries, cinnamon and a touch of citrus, bottled at 32.5% ABV. Gorgeously sweet with a handsome, warming depth of spice, this makes for superb sipping over ice, and can be used in cocktails too. Try it as an alternative for the rye in a Manhattan! Learn More
  6. Redemption Rye

Brandishing 95% rye bottled at 46% and at a relatively young age (around two years old), this whiskey lets you know you are alive. It’s very spicy, with crisp evergreen, warming cinnamon, clove, rooty licorice, dark chocolate, and suggestions of gin botanicals. Spicy, vibrant finish. Adds zing in a cocktail, the same way smoky Islay whiskies make their presence in a blended scotch. Learn More

  8. Bulleit Rye

    Bulleit Rye

    $44.94

On the nose, the golden-amber Bulleit Rye begins with cherry, oak and spice, and develops with caramel, honey and white pepper notes. The palate is smoothly balanced and complex, with more of the cherry and oak, as well as sweeter notes of maple syrup and dried fruit. The expected rye spiciness is present, but considering the Bulleit’s mix, not overpowering. The velvety, spicy finish lingers with a subtle warmth that belies its 90-proof heat. Learn More
  9. Tuthilltown Hudson Manhattan Rye

    Tuthilltown Hudson Manhattan Rye

    $45.94

Until Prohibition New York was known for its rye whiskey. This feisty spirit was the basis for the legendary MANHATTAN cocktail, made famous by Jenny Churchill (Winston’s Mum). Rye had not been produced in New York for over 80 years, but Tuthilltown Spirits’ HUDSON MANHATTAN RYE WHISKEY signals the return of the quintessential New York Whiskey. Our rye is made from whole grain rye one batch at a time. It is not the blended rye whiskey your parents used to mix with soda. This is honest rye whiskey. HUDSON MANHATTAN RYE is bottled at 92 proof. It is fruity, floral and smooth, with a recognizable rye edge that leaves no doubt the origin of the spirit. Each bottle is hand filled, capped, waxed and numbered. Enjoy the return of this classic American spirit. Learn More
  10. High West Son of Bourye

    High West Son of Bourye

    $45.94

Jackalopes! Also called antelabbits, these are an antlered species of rabbit, a cross between a jackrabbit and an antelope. It is rumored that pockets of jackalope populations continue to persist in the American West, its native home. When cowboys gather by their campfires to sing at night, jackalopes are frequently heard singing back, mimicking the voices. When chased, the jackalope will use its vocal abilities to elude capture. For instance, when chased by people it will call out phrases such as, “There he goes, over there,” in order to throw pursuers off its track. Legend suggests the best way to catch a jackalope is to lure it with whiskey, which they are particularly fond of. Once intoxicated, the animal becomes slower and easier to hunt. That’s why High West created the original Bourye. Now, the legend continues with Son of Bourye, also a blend of straight Bourbon and rye whiskies, sure to attract even the most finicky of jackalopes. The bourbon (mashbill: 75% corn, 20% rye, 5% barley malt) is a minimum of 5 years old. The rye (mashbill: 95% rye, 5% barley malt) is a minimum of 3 years old. Please see HighWest.com for specific details by batch # of the whiskeys in this bottle (we like adjusting things somewhat every now and then according to our mood). By the way…Son of Bourye is best enjoyed around a campfire while looking at the Milky Way. Important! Jackalopes will attack if cornered or provoked. To avoid injury, quickly fall to the ground, remain calm and still, while humming the Roy Rogers song, “Happy Trails to You.” If there are multiple Jackalopes, they will begin singing in the round with you. Make your escape after the second verse! Learn More

  15. High West Distillery The 36th Vote Barreled Manhattan

High West Distillery The 36th Vote Barreled Manhattan

    $51.94

The 36th Vote™ commemorates Utah's role as the deciding vote to end Prohibition. In fact, the Utah delegation WANTED to cast the final vote. "No other state shall take away this glory from Utah" proclaimed the leader of the state delegation and president of the Utah League for Prohibition Repeal. On December 5th 1933 at 5:32 PM EST, satisfied that the thirty-fifth state (Pennsylvania) had ratified, Utah delegate S.R. Thurman cast the last ballot for Utah and the 18th amendment's fate was sealed. High West Distillery chose the Manhattan for this celebration because of its classic appeal and timelessness - it's also our favorite mixed drink! We used the pre-Prohibition recipe of two parts rye whiskey to one part sweet vermouth and two dashes of bitters. We then married the mixture in the rye whiskey's American white oak barrel for 90 days, allowing the flavors to integrate in a well-balanced harmony of the rye's spiciness, the vermouth's herbs, and the bitters' complexity. We hope you take time to celebrate Repeal Day and thank Utah for its role in ending the Noble Experiment. Learn More

  17. Johnnie Walker Select Cask Rye Finish

Johnnie Walker Select Cask Rye Finish

    $65.94

Johnnie Walker Select Casks – Rye Cask Finish is a Scotch Whisky blend that showcases the best of Scottish blending and maturation expertise. With Cardhu single malt at the heart of the blend, Johnnie Walker’s Master Blender Jim Beveridge used whiskies matured for at least ten years in first-fill American Oak casks to create this blend.  He finished the Scotch in ex-rye whiskey casks, creating a complex new whisky with rich layers of flavor starting with creamy vanilla notes and transitioning to a spicier finish.

“From the early days when John Walker first blended whiskies in 1820 to the unique blends created today, Johnnie Walker has always thrived on experimentation. I believe that whisky is ever evolving and experimental in nature and I am pleased to present the first Rye Cask finished Blended Scotch Whisky” said Master Blender Jim Beveridge. “Johnnie Walker Select Casks is a unique style of Scotch that blends the flavor characteristics of bourbon and rye with some of the classic signature notes and smoothness of Johnnie Walker Scotch Whisky.

  18. High West Campfire

    High West Campfire

    $66.94

I was going to write something cheesy about cowboys, campfires, and whiskey but I figured you might be more interested in how CAMPFIRE WHISKEY™ came to be. One morning at the Bruichladdich distillery B&B, my wife and I smelled peat in the air - the great ladies that made our meals were simmering a bottle of peated whiskey and sugar! Later that night, they brought out dessert of ripe honeydew drizzled with the peated syrup. That was the most unusual, delicious and memorable ending to a dinner I’ve ever had. The combination of melon and sweet smoke really worked - so (naturally...) I thought why not mix sweet bourbon and peat? Worked for me! The main flavor (or melody) is sweet honey from a ripe bourbon. The enhancing flavor (or harmony) is floral fruity spice from a mature rye whiskey. The accent (Satchmo’s gravelly voice!) is the smoke from a peated scotch whisky. The proportions? Top secret. So...as the sun sinks low and the cold settles in, grab a bottle of CAMPFIRE WHISKEY™ and gather round a blazing fire to warm up, wind down your day, share stories, and deepen friendships. One taste of this sweet, spicy and, yes...smoky whiskey, you’ll know how it got its name. We like to enjoy CAMPFIRE WHISKEY™ with s’mores…or good-looking strangers. If you find yourself in Old Town Park City, you ought to come visit the High West Distillery and Saloon and get a taste of our Western hospitality and our crowd-pleasing victuals. 23. Yippie Ki-Yay High West 2016

    Yippie Ki-Yay High West 2016

    $110.00

LIMITED EDITION How to Enjoy: Yippee Ki-Yay™ is great as an aperitif on ice, neat with dessert, or on its own. Try it in a Manhattan. This stuff rocks. The Name: Where did “Yippee Ki-Yay” come from? Is it a real expression of joy popular with cowboys in the 19th century Western United States? Is it part of the greatest one liner in movie history? Was it influenced by the phrase ‘Yippie-yi-yo-ki-yay’ from the 1936 hit song “I’m an Old Cow Hand from the Rio Grande” about a 20th-century cowboy who has little in common with cowpunchers of old and sung by Bing Crosby in the film “Rhythm on the Range” (also sung later by Roy Rogers and Frank Sinatra) and considered one of the Top 100 Western songs of all time? We’re not sure. But we are sure we like how we feel when we say it... and recommend you use it every chance you get. Back Label Story: We confess...we didn’t coin the term “Yippee Ki-Yay”. Moreover, we didn’t paint the picture on the front label. It’s an historic poster (Gift of The Coe Foundation and Henry B. Balink) now at the Buffalo Bill Center of the West in Cody, Wyoming (centerofthewest.org, you really ought to visit). Furthermore, we didn’t distill the whiskeys in this bottle (it’s our Double Rye!® - sourced whiskey - see highwest.com for details). However, we did come up with a combination that we think will make you say...Yippee Ki-Yay drinkers of horrible tasting cheap flavored uisge beatha! One day, just for fun, we put Double Rye!® into oak barrels that had originally been used to age two different types of wine (see highwest.com for details) and discovered an all-natural, not disgustingly-sweet sipper for the rest of us.High West’s Yippee Ki-YayTM is great as an aperitif on ice, neat with dessert, on its own, or try it in a Manhattan. $215.00

The Boss Hog is the debut of a new series of WhistlePig Whiskey. Bottled at cask-strength, the Spirit of Mortimer represents our purest, most powerful, and most primordial expression of the world’s finest rye. The Spirit of Mortimer is dedicated to Mortimer WhistlePig. Mortimer, our mascot, compatriot and friend, laid down his life this past summer while defending the honor of Mauve WhistlePig, his beloved Kune Kune spouse. This year’s Boss Hog is Mortimer’s monument and memorial. Mortimer’s physical monument will be the “Spirit of Mortimer,” a finely crafted Danforth pewter topper which will sit atop each Boss Hog bottle and depict Mortimer midflight, with arms stretched to the heavens. 29. Whistlepig Straight Rye Whiskey 15yr

    Whistlepig Straight Rye Whiskey 15yr

    $224.94

Within this bottle is the culmination of years of patience – a liquid chosen from our finest stocks to be aged for more than a decade. The first WhistlePig product aged in Vermont Estate Oak harvested right from our farm. It is our oldest whiskey.

The harsh winters and short growing seasons in Vermont bestow a tight grain pattern upon our trees. Kentucky oak trees are fat. Vermont ones are tight. Tight wood delivers more flavor and depth.

The new Vermont Oak barrels receive a long toast and heavy char designed to draw out a rich sweetness to complement the natural spice of aged rye. The final product mixes rye spice with wood sugar, earthy oakiness and lush citrus notes, all wrapped in a velvety smoothness unique to the finest aged spirits.

This Rye has been waiting for 15 years to reach your lips, and time is something that no amount of money can buy.

Just remember – tight is better than fat. And old is better than young. In whiskey at least.

  30. WhistlePig Old World Madeira Straight Rye Whiskey **SIGNED**

WhistlePig Old World Madeira Straight Rye Whiskey **SIGNED**

    $249.99

In the fall of 2012, Master Distiller Dave Pickerell began a unique experiment. After studying the time honored techniques of the Old World – particularly single malt Scotch whiskies – Dave and the WhistlePig team finished batches of 12-year-old Rye with premium Madeira casks. Produced since the 17th century on the Portuguese island of Madeira, this highly unique winemaking process includes oxidizing the wine at elevated temperatures for extended periods, replicating the primitive conditions of shipping the wine to the New World through the warm tropics. However, two blights in the 1900s eradicated more than 75% of the vines, making Madeira difficult to cultivate and procure today.

The rich caramel, fruit, and pepper notes of Madeira combine with Rye’s bold, spicy attributes yielding an elegant ultra-premium straight rye, distinctly American, but hearkening to its stately Old World roots.
