  1. Citadelle Artisanal Gin

    Citadelle Artisanal Gin

    $31.94

    Size 750ML

The gin coming from France is still a bit unusual. That he comes from Cognac is at least very unusual. The Citadelle Gin can even do both and the website of the manufacturer Cognac Ferrand describes the origin of the gin originating as French Juniper brandy and Dutch genever. "Typically French ..." you might think at first. The London Dry Gin is said to go back to a recipe from the 18th century and is named after a small distillery in Dunkerque, in northern France. The two manufacturers Alexandre Gabriel and Jean-Dominique Andreu of Cognac Ferrand attach great importance to the manufacturing process (and the corresponding marketing). The same stills are used as in cognac production . The used Charentaiser copper stills hold only 200 liters, a total of 19 botanicals are used. Distillation over an open fire is really special, which requires a certain sensitivity during production. Learn More
