Quick Overview

Les Antiquaires received a perfect scores by Le Monde, it is the official Cognac of the ‘Meilleurs Ouvriers de France’ and the distillery only releases eaux de vies that are 40 years or older, never blended from sealed, never topped single barrels. Each bottle is sealed and trimmed by hand with an elaborately braided brute cord that holds the label in place. Each label is inspired by certificates of authenticity in thick, handmade cards handwritten by a calligrapher.
Tasting Notes:
A natural colour with a golden patina.
The intense, round nose immediately and unreservedly attests to the cognac's age. It slowly rises to voluptuously spread out in the subtle alliance between candied and exotic fruits (mangoes) and the scent of a cigar box. The mouth is just as extraordinary.
A velvety feeling that covers the whole mouth, a depth, an unrivalled density, a hint of nuttiness and a touch of licorice at the end of the mouth.
Outstanding fineness.
